Dr. Palmer is originally from Tampa, Florida and is a proud Florida State Seminole where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology & Psychology. She received her medical degree from the University of Florida where the spark to become an ObGyn began with a passion for discussing women's health issues. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Baylor Scott and White in Temple with a focus in resident education, high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. 

Dr. Palmer is excited to stay in central Texas and join her partner, Michael, who has been a local Austinite for over 12 years. They have recently adopted a dog named Newton, and have loved getting to explore Austin parks and greenways with him. 

She is honored to be a part of the Austin Obgyn Associates family and to work alongside compassionate physicians and staff while caring for the people of the Austin community.  Her clinical interests include infertility, contraception, pregnancy care, and abnormal uterine bleeding. Dr. Palmer continues to care for women in all stages of life and empowers patients through education & shared decision making. Her goal for every visit is to create an environment where patients feel comfortable to ask questions and discuss concerns.  She doesn't take for granted the privilege of caring for patients during some of life's biggest moments and is honored to be on that journey together.
