Dr. Marianela Gille
Dr. Marianela Gille grew up in the border towns of Matamoros, Mexico and Brownsville, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received her bachelors degree in Biochemistry (and fell in love with the city of Austin), and then earned her Medical Doctorate from St. Georges Medical School. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in New York City at SUNY Downstate Medical Center where she received the Resident Award for Excellence in Family Planning. Dr. Garza joined Austin ObGyn Associates in 2021.
Dr. Gille has received extensive training in high risk Obstetric medicine while caring for a diverse patient population. Her love for Ob/Gyn comes from being in a beautiful profession in which you build long lasting relationships with patients and provide support through some of life’s most significant milestones. She places great importance on counseling and believes every woman should be empowered to speak up, ask questions and understand what is going on with her body.
Dr. Gille has always considered Austin to be her favorite city and is excited to make her way back to Texas after completing her medical training. When she is not delivering babies she enjoys cooking traditional Mexican dishes and traveling with her husband. She has been to over 35 countries and is always looking forward to a new adventure!
