Dr. Julia Hagan grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Vanderbilt University where she double majored in Medicine Health & Society and French. She earned her Medical Doctorate from University of Missouri, then completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Dallas at Baylor University Medical Center. During residency she served as Administrative Chief Resident and received the Outstanding Resident in Gynecologic Oncology Award. Dr. Hagan joined Austin Ob/Gyn Associates in 2022.

Dr. Hagan has found the privilege of getting to develop relationships with her patients as she helps them navigate important milestones in their lives to be the most rewarding part of Ob/Gyn. Her extensive training in both high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery have prepared her to provide excellent and compassionate care to the women of Austin. .

Dr. Hagan is happy to now call Austin home! When she’s not hard at work you may find her out for a run, trying a Pilates class or planning her next chance to travel.
